There once was a Facebook man name Moi Andonlymoi. He exists on Facebook and is actually very hot. He works for Ferrari, speaks a ton of languages, enjoys sports and lives in New York, but visits Tampa often. This man could be the perfect man for some people and he was for a month or so my perfect man. It’s funny what a little experiment/joke amongst friends can turn into. One of my friends had her Mom asking why she hadn’t told her about her new man.
My experience began kind of upsetting. No one noticed that in all of the years I have been on Facebook that I had finally gone “Facebook Official”. It’s not like I jump in and out of relationships or anything crazy like that. I post an update and people notice. Maybe everyone was shocked?
No one seemed to notice my “man” until about 2 weeks ago. I had a cousin tell me my new boyfriend was really cute and wanted to know how we met. It made me LOL and decided I shouldn’t string her along so I told her that he was a joke/experiment. She still thinks he’s hot and I can’t blame her LOL.
After my Cousin noticed him it seemed like my friends were starting to notice as well. One of my best friends posted to my Facebook wall wanting to know who he was. I replied by saying he was my lover thinking that would give it away that he is a joke. It didn’t because she wanted to then know how long we had been dating. I called her only to find out one of our other friends noticed and asked her. Word was spreading that Kim had a “man”.
There were more inquiries, but none as precious as a new friend that wanted to find out more about him so, Mr. Andonlymoi was Googled. That was priceless in my book. I came clean with who Moi was and how we came to be Facebook Official with many people. I just couldn’t keep leading people on and that is why today I ended our Facebook relationship. I made the breakup private, you know, for Moi’s sake and privacy
So it seems that we no longer “Go steady” when we are in a serious enough relationship, it’s “Facebook Official” and it is a big deal!
Have you tried something like this before?
