Facebook is an awesome way to reach out to the people that you want to see, hear and learn about your brand. I bet you have goals to have thousands of fans (or people that “like” your brand), right? I figured as much, but don’t worry. You aren’t alone in your expectations. We all want to have a memorable Fan Page. We all want it to be “rockin’” with activity and we all want to see the success come out of it.
There are many ways that you can achieve success through Facebook, but unless you are an already well established Brand like Subway and Sears, it is going to take some time and a lot of dedication to build the trust and your Facebook Fan Page. Here are just a few tips to help you stay focused and not get discouraged.
1. It Isn’t A Race!
Take your time implementing your Fan Page into your Online efforts. Rushing always leads to forgotten details and mistakes.
2. It Isn’t About The Numbers!
Make sure your focus is never about how many people “Like” your page, but rather the quality of your “Fans”.
3. Be Consistent!
Post something daily! Don’t quit! People are watching and they will interact soon enough!
4. Engage!
Make sure you are engaging with people when they post comments. Thank them for their comment. Doing this will encourage them to keep coming back!
*SAYING THANK YOU GOES A LONG WAY*
5. Keep Your Wall Clean!
Make sure your wall isn’t cluttered with spammers advertising their products or posting malicious links. This will ensure that your voice is being heard and not getting lost in the shuffle!
Oh, One last thing to remember….

…and neither is any success through Social Media!
I hope these tips help all of you that are trying to pave your way to Facebook success! Just remember to focus on the goal and not the numbers, be authentic and be SOCIAL!

I think when you are new to facebook, its a good idea to engange in groups first before starting a fan page to start a fan base.
yes you are true thanking the bloggers is a very nice thing..it gives a kind of personal touch it..thanks for the sharing a nice post
I think the most important aspect is to never give up. It can take some time to become successful on Facebook.
Are there specific benefits to having a Facebook fan page as opposed to putting the effort elsewhere? (i.e. blog comments, forums, even just getting more Facebook friends generally?) I’m tempted to promote through the profile occasionally myself, Facebook seems to be a lot of online clutter for the people I know, who love it, but have trouble getting the information they want from it.
