01 Dont Just Bookmark, Build A Following

Bookmarking your blog posts on sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious and Mixx is a very good idea and is yet another way to drive eyeballs to your content, however if you are going to take the time to bookmark why not take the extra step and build a following through these individual sites.

Many of these Social Bookmarking sites allow you to friend, follow or subscribe to other individuals so you can get updates on their content. Why do this?  Well you want to make the most out of these sites and following other people’s content in return opens you up to being followed, added as a friend or subscribed to by that person or account.

Remember that with any site, it isn’t about the numbers, it’s about the quality of the friend, follower or subscriber.
