Online video content is becoming very popular thanks to individuals like Shay Carl and Charles Trippy. It has quickly become a way for people to make a name for themselves without having to Blog and come up with written content. Let’s face it, writing really isn’t for everyone just like video isn’t always the way everyone should go.

Nowadays everyone is trying to become the next big “vlogger” by putting up videos of their daily journeys, funny skits or even informational content.

One of the biggest mistakes that is made when adding your video content to YouTube, Vimeo and other video posting sites is that the Title, Tags and Description are either non existent OR they do not reflect what the video is actually about. Below are 3 very easy steps to make sure you are reaching your targeted audience when posting your video content to any video hosting and posting site.

1. Make sure your title is not only catchy, but reflects what the video is about.

YouTube TitleYou will see that the title of this video tells EXACTLY what this video is about.

2. Make sure the description is informative and like the title attracts your target viewers. Also make sure you add links to your main URL and other social sites like Twitter and Facebook.

3. Don’t forget to choose the proper category and tag it up. Make sure your keywords reflect what the video is about.

I’m not promising that by following these three steps you will become the next SXEPhil, remember that you need to make sure you are also providing quality content that interests people Online.
