Tonight was one of those nights that after roughly 11 hours of working I was ready to pull myself away from the computer, pop open an ice cold Corona and watch the All Star Game. I didn’t feel inspired to keep working, but why should I? I was already working for 11 hours!
As I’m finishing up a Facebook post on my Fanpage, I’m visualizing relaxing while watching the game. That’s when my phone rang. The name was familiar, but not someone I had talked to in YEARS, probably 10 years to be honest. It was my Aunt; my Dads sister. The last time I had seen her I was still living in Missouri teaching preschool. She had asked how I was, what I was up to and wanted to hear about all the things I had been working on and how I got to where I’m at today. It was good to talk about the things that I’m excited about, but what was truly inspiring was when she said to me “Your Dad must be looking down on you so proud.”. It was at that moment that I no longer was ready to pull away from the computer, but focused on catching up on my business blog, setting up a few strategies for clients and reviewing my business goals.
I was more inspired at that moment than I have been in quite some time and it’s almost like my Dad knew I needed the inspiration and now 5 hours later I sit here finishing up this blog and now REALLY ready to relax in bed and ready to start tomorrow inspired and ready for the amazing things yet to come!
What inspires you to keep focusing on succeeding?

Great thoughts here Kim. I love unexpected inspiration, especially in moments like that. At this stage in my entrepreneur and business journey I am constantly inspired by the people around me in different ways. I am learning to see the positive in every experience, business or not.

It’s important to be able to see things like that rather than seeing everything in a negative light.
