01 Five Free Ways To Monitor Your Brand Online

Brand Monitoring should be a large part of your Social Media Campaign and efforts. There are many tools and services both free and paid that you can use to see what is being said whether positive or negative about you and your brand. I have listed my own personal top five favorite FREE ways to monitor my own personal brand.

1. Google Alerts

Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on keywords or phrases chosen.

2. TweetDeck

The awesome thing about TweetDeck is its capability to run searches on keywords or phrases meaning you can monitor what others are saying and Tweeting about with your brand.

3. BrandPeek

A pretty sweet web based site that allows you to type in multiple search terms or brand names to monitor.

4. SocialMention

Social Mention checks with blogs, Social Sites, news sites, video and others for whatever key terms or words you are searching and monitoring. You can choose to have these results emailed or simply view them Online

5. Topsy

A Social Search engine powered by Tweets

There are many other ways you can monitor your brand and I am sure everyone has their own favorite site. These are just 5 of mine. I use plenty of different methods to monitor what is being said about my brand as well as those of my clients.
