If You’re Proud Of Your Work, Share It

365 Days of Blogging Challenge | Day 10

I know I have asked the question before. How many of you Social Bookmark your blog posts, news stories, images, videos and well basically all of the content you share (with the exception of Social network updates, microblogging and checking-in)?

It amazes me to see even some of the larger companies, brands and news sites not bookmarking their content. Do you realize the extra exposure you can get? Sure, sharing on Twitter and Facebook are great, but you can reach people that my not be following you or connected to your brand already with a few simple clicks to some Social Bookmarking sites.

Here are a few sites that I absolutely LOVE:

• Stumbleupon.com
• Digg.com
• Identi.ca (I get a ton of referrals from this site)
• Delicious.com
• Mixx.com
• Buzz.yahoo.com

Submitting or bookmarking your content along with Tweeting and Facebooking it will open the door to new followers so if you are sharing information Online with hopes of reaching a lot of people I suggest trying one or all of the sites I have mentioned. There are more, but if you aren’t already doing this, why would I give you a list of 25 or more?

If you feel like you don’t have the time to do this for yourself, find someone that you can outsource this task to. It’s well worth it as long as your content is of good quality.
