Sure Farmville and all the other millions of “villes” on Facebook can be fun and yes sending a friend a virtual drink might be funny, but are you trying to portray an image Online? Are you trying to let people see who you are and what it is that you do in hopes that they in return see the benefits of potentially becoming a client or customer of yours? If you are then you need to really focus on keeping your “walls” and other Social Sites uncluttered.

I refuse to scroll down a fan page through a ton of pillow and food fights just to see the latest blog post or update from the admin of the page. If you want the interaction with the fans then you need to moderate your page. If you don’t care for interaction (which I am totally against) then turn off that permission.

5 minutes of clean up a day can very possibly make for a happy Facebook experience!

Facebook is so addictive that we forget our focus and intention. I agree that we should be careful of the person we portray in this medium. :-)

Facebook is an awesome platform even for the mini gamer in all of us, but yes I do think that many people lose their focus.
