01 Tip #1 For Social Media In 2010

HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE!

So I have literally JUST decided that throughout 2010 I am (besides hunting down people “Rockin’ Social Media“) going to give weekly tips. Very short, very basic. Things to think about in 2010 for your presence Online.

#1 Tip: “If your business was in the Yellow Pages in 2009, your  business needs to be ONLINE in 2010″

This one is pretty simple. I think that you can see what I mean and understand it.

Basically in 2009 (and 2008) we watched many newspapers go out of  business and a big reason was the Internet. Do you think that could never happen to the Phone book?

I don’t understand why people even advertise in the yellow pages. I mean who now a days says I need a dentist throw me a yellow pages.

For any business not on the web they are missing a big piece of the pie and need to turn to experts like yourself to get that web presence going.

Yes, I completely agree. The yellow pages (actual BOOK, to clarify for some people) isn’t being viewed and or used as much as intended. PLUS the Internet is more eco-friendly.
Thank you for the comment Danny! You rock!

You are brilliant and your early education training and experience makes you THE social media whisperer as this is all new education and we are young in the learning. Think about what you taught your students and how it relates to social skills, groups, norms, trends, learning and application. _KIMRANDALL that is you! I am grateful!

Whooo hooo!
