So Twitter has launched another new feature. Twitter now suggests people for you to follow on not only your “home” page, but also when you follow someone new. I guess I can understand why they did this, I mean Facebook has the “suggested friends” option, but Facebook and Twitter are actually very different in the way people connect.

The thing I do not like about this new feature is that most of the people that Twitter is suggesting are people that I just recently weeded out from following due to spammy Tweets or celebrities and I rarely follow any of them because I enjoy the “social” aspect of Twitter.
What do you think?
Do you care who Twitter suggests to you?

You drawed my attention to that, because I simply just did not notice the new option! I assume that with the time, Twitter will have dozens of new options.
Not a fan of of Who to Follow suggestions for the very same reason. I have not come across any suggestion of interest thus far. Additionally, this suggests quanity follow vs. quality follow. Good thing it is optional feature you can simply ignor.

I found it very odd that Twitter suggested I follow someone who hadn’t tweeted in over a year???
Hm, i don’t really care about this new feature, sometime i check the profile first before deciding who to follow or not.
I think its ok for them to suggest but its up to an individual to decide just like on facebbok one can ignore some suggested friends
