365 Day Blogging Challenge | Day 7
LinkedIn is probably most commonly known for a place where job seekers post their profile and Employers track down suitable prospects. Some people also use their profile as a place saver so to say. You set it up and just kind of let it sit, but I am here to give you one really awesome way you can use LinkedIn ESPECIALLY if you are a business owner, freelancer or do side work.

LinkedIn is a great place to connect with past employers, past co-workers, friends and some even connect with their family. If you are a business owner or do freelance/side jobs you can take advantage of the recommendation area and use that as a sort of portfolio. You definitely can’t fake that someone has recommended you for the work you do so why not build on that and use that as just another resource to show the amazing work you do.
Let’s say you are a Chiropractor, you can connect with your past and current patients and ask them to type a recommendation of your services. Think of how much you can build and the resource you will have at your disposal. Me personally, I ask my clients if I can use their recommendations also on my Testimonial page on my website. Two places, same content and your hard work and great services are being bragged about.
Hope this helps everyone stay LinkedIn just a little better!
